A quieter mind

01 · a letter from HAWA

Dear friend,

October holds World Mental Health Day, on the 10th. So our first letter is about the mind that won't slow down: the list at three in the morning, the shoulders up near the ears, the worry that stays after its reason has gone.

We asked ourselves what has really helped us, and the people we trust. The answer kept coming back to something simple and free: the breath. So this month we sit with Sarjeet, who works with breath and the nervous system. There is one small practice for each week, a journey for when you can go away, and a few things to read.

Take it slowly. Come back to it through the month.

with love, HAWA
