A fourth-generation Ayurvedic physician carrying a living family tradition
from $90
Dr Avilochan Singh is a fourth-generation Ayurveda physician — the knowledge he carries did not begin with a certification. It began in Tarn Taran, Punjab, in the 19th century, with his great-grandfather Bhai Mohan Singh Ji Vaid, who wrote over 40 texts on Ayurveda, translated the Charak Samhita and Vagbhat into Punjabi, and pioneered pulse diagnosis. He holds his Ayurvedacharya degree from Shree Lakshmi Narayan Ayurvedic College and was trained in Kerala Panchakarma at Arya Vaidya Chikitsalayam, Coimbatore. He has headed treatment centres at Apollo, Inlaks & Budhrani, and helped establish Ayurveda spas for Kama Ayurveda. What he brings is a living tradition, translated with care for the bodies and lives of people today.

( notes from seekers )
“Dr. Singh is the ayurvedic equivalent of the old-fashioned family doctor who is generous with his gifts of time and knowledge: he treats his patients in whole of their humanity and not merely by their symptoms.”
