Wellness Retreat

( the feeling of it )

Some places calm you with quiet. Villa Palladio does it with colour: cardinal red, rose and candy stripes that lift your senses and, somehow, slow your breath.

( the story )

A nine-room haveli twenty minutes from Jaipur, painted in cardinal red, pink and candy stripes. A retreat made to lift the senses, with a garden room for yoga and meditation, spa rituals, and gardens of jasmine and rose.

Villa Palladio opened in September 2022 in a mansion on the old road to Jamdoli, from the team behind Jaipur's Bar Palladio. It is a gracious country estate of nine rooms, conceived as a retreat and dipped, inside and out, in colour: cardinal red, rose pink, painted palms and pomegranates, striped columns and checkerboard floors. Colour is the point. It wakes you up and slows you down at once. Around the house grow secret gardens of jasmine, rose, pomegranate and hibiscus, with fountains, birdsong and a palm-shaded pool. Il Eremo, a quiet room onto the garden, is kept for yoga and meditation, and the spa's rituals are made to ground and restore. The kitchen cooks classic dishes with an Italian heart from the villa's organic gardens and local farmers. And twenty minutes away waits the Pink City itself: block-printing villages, the flower market at dawn, forts and stepwells, the colours of Jaipur in every street.
