( the feeling of it )

A house from 1791 in a village of a hundred and thirty people, with thermal water running under its own well.

( the story )

A green-shuttered 1791 house in a 130-person Audoise village, holding four private spaces and two retreat pathways — wellbeing, and energy-medicine healing.

Maison ila is a maison de maître built in 1791, green-shuttered, standing on the church square of Sonnac-sur-l'Hers — a village of a hundred and thirty people in the Pyrénées Audoises, between Carcassonne and Toulouse. There are only four private spaces: a two-bedroom cottage and three one-bedroom apartments, with Egyptian cotton linens, Himalayan salts and a hot tub shared in the garden. Sacred thermal waters run beneath the well. Retreats follow one of two pathways — Bien-Être, built on yoga, wild movement, sound healing and intuitive treatments; or Matri Healing, working with energy medicine, bio-electric therapies, plant protocols, light frequencies and sacred ritual. Stays are full board, organic, and cooked with obvious care.
