A jungle shala inland from Wijaya Beach near Galle, with an infinity pool, a resident teaching faculty and 200-hour trainings running since 2018.

where it begins

Sri Yoga Shala sits at Unawatuna, seven kilometres south of Galle and a kilometre and a half back from Wijaya Beach — close enough for the surf, far enough for quiet. Eva founded it in 2015; the shala is wooden-floored and open to the jungle, with an infinity pool beside it for before and after class. The teaching bench is unusually deep for a small centre, spanning Vinyasa, the Sattvic Sadhana tradition and Kundalini. Since 2018 it has run 200-hour Yoga Alliance accredited teacher trainings under the name Inner Guru. Massage and bodywork are available, and Café Durga handles the eating.
