Culture & Creative

Creativity as a doorway.

3 people we trust

Writing, story, sacred music, voice and dance: ways of letting what is inside finally move. It is not about talent; a practitioner gives you the space and a simple structure, and you bring what wants to be said.

What brings people here

in their words

  • “There are things I have never found the words for.”

  • “I want to use my voice, hands or body, not only talk.”

  • “I want something gentler than therapy, but just as honest.”

( the first time )

How it begins

The first session
Usually a short conversation about what you want, then a first exercise to try: a prompt to write to, a sound to make, a movement to follow.
Where, how long, how much
Most sessions are online and last 30 to 60 minutes. Each practitioner sets their own price and you pay them directly; HAWA takes no commission.
If it is not right
That is all right. Tell the practitioner, or write to us, and we will help you find someone else.

Questions about culture & creative

Do I need to be creative or talented?

No. These practices are about expression, not performance. Beginners are the usual company.

Online or in person?

Most sessions are online, so you can begin from home, wherever you are. Many practitioners also meet in person or lead retreats; each profile says what they offer and where they are based.

How do I choose someone in Culture & Creative?

Start with the person whose way of describing their work sounds like you. Read their profile, see what they say they help with, and contact them directly: many offer a short first conversation. If it is not the right fit, tell them, or write to us and we will help you find someone else.

( need a hand? )

Not sure who is right for you?

Take the four-minute reflection, or ask a real person to help you choose.
